Children's Mass

Our children bring so much life into the parish. They are not only the future of the Church—they are the Church today. You may have noticed that we welcome the sounds children bring with them, even when that means a bit of crying. A “quiet” church is not necessarily a growing church! A church where children cry is a church that is alive. To help our children know that they belong here, the 10:30 a.m. Mass on the first Sunday of each month (when catechism is in session) will be dedicated especially to them. We will use the children’s lectionary and Eucharistic prayer, include a children’s choir, offer a children’s homily, and invite them to serve in various ministries as they are able.
Children's Liturgy of the Word
Takes place during the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays.
(except on a First Sunday when Children’s Mass is being held)
Children are invited to hear the Good News of the Gospel appropriate to their age.
