Parish 80th Anniversary

We were blessed to celebrate recently our 80th Anniversary. It was a prayerful and joyful event!

For those unable to attend, we want to share with you parts of the celebration.
A Mass was celebrated with Fr. Martin as the main presider assisted by Deacon Denis    and concelebrating priests Fr. Agustin, Fr. Pat, and 17 priests from the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Fr. Frank Santucchi, OMI provided the homily and was the speaker at the dinner that followed. We were honored to also have Fr. Louis Studer, OMI, Provincial, in attendance from Rome.

During the Mass we blessed the altar stone which now includes five crosses representing the five wounds of Jesus and a first class relic of St. Eugene de Mazenod the Founder of the Oblates.

Fr. Martin then announced that, with approval of the Pastoral Council, the church offices would now be named the Fr. Pat Guidon Pastoral Center in gratitude for his ministry and the Oblates dedication to Our Lady of Grace; a plaque in the foyer of the office acknowledges this honor.

At the dinner Fr. Martin expressed his gratitude to the parishioners for making Our Lady of Grace a great parish!
